Event videography and photography in Bangalore
From Bengaluru, The House of Edits films and photographs concerts, festivals, film PR events and live shows for organisers, artists and brands, then edits the footage into aftermovies, reels and photo sets. Our work on Hiphop Tamizha Live in Concert in 2025 covered live photography, videography, short-form glimpses and quick recap edits.
What we make
What we film, photograph and cut at your event
Concert aftermovies
A recap film cut to the music, built from the songs the crowd sang loudest, the walk-on and the moments between artist and audience. It should play as one story, not a string of clips.
Glimpse reels
Short vertical highlights for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, edited ahead of the longer film so the event stays in people's feeds while it is still being talked about.
Live concert photography
Stage, artist, crowd and venue photographs, graded and delivered as separate landscape and portrait sets. The galleries on our Kailash Kher and Shreya Ghoshal case studies are arranged the same way.
Festival and devotional films
Highlight films for large cultural and religious gatherings, where the story is the devotees, the rituals and the performances together rather than a single stage.
PR event and launch coverage
Videography for film promotions and launches that follows guests, media interactions and candid reactions, then turns them into fast-paced edits for PR use.
Multi-camera stage recordings
A full concert set or a stand-up special recorded from several angles and cut so the pacing and the energy in the room survive on screen.
Partner versions
Shorter edits and photo selections that feature a sponsor's stage branding or activation, ready for that brand to post on its own channels.

How it works
From brief to delivery
What you receive
- Aftermovie, 16:9 master for YouTube and your website
- Vertical 9:16 glimpse reels
- Graded photo set in landscape and portrait
- Web-sized photo selection for press and social
- 4:5 and square crops for Instagram feeds
- Multi-camera edit of the full set, where the artist allows
- Sponsor and partner cut-downs
- Raw footage and unedited photographs, if agreed
Run of show
We read the schedule, setlist and venue plan, and ask what each film or photo set has to do: sell the next edition, report to sponsors, feed the artist's channels or reach the press.
Positions and permissions
Camera and photographer positions are fixed for stage, pit, crowd and backstage, and filming conditions are checked with the venue and the artist's team.
Crew briefing
Every shooter gets a list of moments that cannot be missed, from the opening song to the sponsor's on-stage mention, so nothing important depends on luck.
On the night
Video and photo crews follow the setlist and the audience as closely as the stage, working around the crowd instead of through it.
Glimpses first
When early posting matters, a short glimpse edit and a first selection of photographs are prepared before anything else, so the organiser has strong material to post early.
Aftermovie and handover
The aftermovie is cut, colour corrected and sound aligned, then handed over with the full photo set and every agreed format.
House of Edits did an incredible job shooting and editing my stand-up special. They captured everything with great clarity, ensuring the energy of the performance translated perfectly on screen.
Budget
What shapes the quote for event coverage
- Hours on the groundAn evening concert, a day-long campus fest and a multi-day festival need very different crew rotas, battery and storage plans, and editing time.
- Cameras and photographersEach extra angle or shooter adds people to the crew and hours of footage to sort, so we match the crew to the moments that matter most.
- Light and accessDim stages, restricted pit access, backstage permissions and travel outside Bengaluru all change how the shoot is staffed and equipped.
- Speed of the first editsWanting glimpses out during or right after the event means an editor working alongside the crew rather than starting the next morning.
- Formats and versionsA single aftermovie is a smaller job than an aftermovie plus reels, partner versions and a full-set recording in several aspect ratios.
Questions
Before you ask
What makes a concert aftermovie worth watching?
A good aftermovie follows the shape of the night: the build-up, the songs the crowd sang back, and the connection between artist and audience. That needs coverage planned around the setlist, clean sound and an edit cut to the music. Length depends on where it will live; a short cut suits social media, while a longer one can carry the event website or a sponsor report.
How soon can we post photos and clips?
That is decided at the brief, because quick posting changes how the crew is planned. When it matters, we prepare short glimpses and a first set of photographs before the aftermovie. On Hiphop Tamizha in 2025, quick recap edits and short-form glimpses were part of our brief alongside the main photography and videography.
Do you work with the event's production team on the night?
Yes, and often with our sister company. Kalaluha is the Bengaluru live event production company that produces concerts, and we have been creative media partner on its shows, including Kailash Kher Live in Concert and Shreya Ghoshal Live in Concert. On Hiphop Tamizha and Melody Milap, Kalaluha was event partner while we covered photography, videography and post-production. With any production team, we agree camera positions, stage access and power before the doors open.
Do you cover events other than concerts?
Yes. Devotional festivals, film promotions and campus events are all part of our coverage work: ISKCON Krishna Janmashtami at KTPO, Whitefield, in 2024 and 2025, where we were creative media partner; the TOBY movie PR event for Lighter Land in August 2025; and cultural celebrations, fashion shows and aftermovies recorded for Presidency University, Bengaluru.
Who decides how the footage can be used?
Settle it before the shoot. The organiser, the artist's management and the sponsors may each want their own cuts, and artists often limit how much of a song can be published. Agreeing usage, approvals and credits in writing early keeps finished edits from being held back after the event.

- Events and concertsConcert and event economics, from first budget to final settlementConcert economics rests on two tests: tickets and sponsorship, net of what they cost to earn, must cover a budget built on cautious sales, and cash must arrive before the bills fall due. The sequence: fund the show, cost every head, price against break even, sell sponsorship as deliverables, protect cash, then settle every account in writing.
