Website design and development
Website design and development in Bangalore
The House of Edits designs and develops websites from Bengaluru for service firms, real estate groups, artists and event producers whose site has to explain the business and bring in enquiries. Some carry 3D and scroll film; others stay deliberately light. On VicWide's site, visitors turn a 3D house to find the right service among 22.
What we make
What we design and develop
Business and service websites
Sites that say what you do in plain words, give each service its own page and keep call, WhatsApp and enquiry routes within reach on every screen. Many visitors arrive on a phone, so the phone layout gets as much care as the desktop one.
3D website design
Interactive 3D in Three.js and React Three Fiber where it explains something: a property visitors can turn, land parcels that merge into one plot, a drawing lifted into space. Models are compressed for fast loading, with a lighter or static fallback for devices that cannot run them.
Scroll-driven films
Hero films that play frame by frame as the visitor scrolls, cut into image sequences sized for each device. Drawn to a canvas, they play back more reliably than a seeking video and stop when the visitor stops.
Content and search-led sites
Service, location and article templates built to be found, with structured data, sitemaps and guide libraries written against a single facts file that lists what the business may state.
Launch pages and microsites
One page for a new venture, a tour or a launch, hand-written where a framework would only add weight. Music from the Valley carries an optional score, a live-drawn India map and three enquiry forms on a single page.
Tools, assistants and enquiry flows
Calculators such as a warehouse space estimator, enquiry forms that return a reference and pass the details on to WhatsApp, and on-site assistants that answer only from approved content.
E-commerce and web apps
Online stores, UI and UX design and web applications sit in the same technology practice, with designers and developers working side by side rather than in silos.
Brand pieces for the web
Wordmarks, favicons, app icons and link previews when a site needs them, as we made for VicWide alongside its website.
Proof
Work we have delivered
VicWide Inspection ServicesA Next.js 16 site for a Werribee inspection business serving Melbourne, built around one illustrated house. A 3D model with seven areas points visitors to the right service among 22 service pages, backed by 14 suburb pages.See the project
GRMH GroupThe site for a Bengaluru land aggregation group tells the business as one scroll film, where four acts of generated aerial footage turn bare land into homes, a campus, a warehouse and a township. In WebGL, seven land parcels draw in and merge into a single plot.See the project
Dr. Chethana R.S.An art-first site with a ten-scene scroll film whose principal WebGPU sequence is shaded in TSL, followed by calm gallery pages and a 404-article library. Four quality tiers let it read in full without motion.See the project
Sumadhura Industrial & Logistics ParksThe platform site for Sumadhura Group's warehousing parks opens on a six-chapter film that drives from the highway through the gate to the dock as you scroll. Redrawn SVG master plans and a space estimator then give leasing heads the numbers.See the project
Uniq BuildersA static Astro site for a Mysuru builder, with starting rates up front, call and WhatsApp on every page and 480 guides across eight topic hubs.See the project
KalaluhaA black and gold site for a Bengaluru concert producer, opening on a 384-frame aerial film of a concert night, with 14 project pages and 238 blog articles shipped as a static build.See the project
How it works
From brief to delivery
What you receive
- A designed and developed website on your domain
- Layouts for phone, tablet and desktop
- A deployment package prepared for your hosting
- Page titles, meta descriptions and canonical URLs
- JSON-LD structured data and an XML sitemap
- Share images, favicons and app icons
- Images in AVIF or WebP, sized for each device
- Compressed 3D models and frame sequences, where used
- Enquiry forms routed to email, with WhatsApp hand-off
- Copy kept in content files, separate from the layout
Facts first
We begin with what the site must achieve and gather every fact it may state into one source: services, figures, addresses and any rules about claims. On GRMH Group, the compliance rules were set before any design began.
Idea and structure
We agree the one idea the site is built around and map every page to it. On VicWide that idea was one illustrated house, and after the first review the home page was cut to seven calm chapters, with the detail moved onto dedicated pages.
Design
Palette, type, spacing and motion rules are fixed once as design tokens. Pages are then designed with real copy and imagery at phone and desktop widths.
Development
We choose the stack for the job: hand-written HTML for a light single page, Astro for large static content sites, Next.js for server-rendered pages, scheduled publishing and 3D. Every service on VicWide stays reachable without WebGL, without motion and with a keyboard, and the build carries end-to-end and accessibility tests.
Launch
We set up hosting, the domain, structured data and the sitemap, and the site can be held at noindex until launch. On VicWide, a launch guard refuses to build while placeholder business details remain.
After launch
We keep working on the site once it is live: keyword-led titles, topic hubs and guide libraries. On VicWide, each guide publishes on its own date without a redeploy.
Budget
What decides the cost of a website
- Page types, not page countA single launch page and a site with service, location and article templates are different projects. The number of distinct templates matters more than the raw number of URLs.
- 3D and scroll filmGenerating footage, cutting frame sequences for several screen sizes, modelling and compressing 3D, and building lighter fallbacks all add design and development time.
- Copy and contentWhether you supply final text and photography, or need us to write, research and fact-check it, changes the scope. A library of guides is a project of its own.
- Features and integrationsEstimators, booking flows, assistants, multi-route enquiry forms and connections to email or WhatsApp each need building and testing.
- Rules and review roundsCompliance-heavy wording, several approvers and many rounds of direction take longer than a brief with one decision-maker.
- Hosting and ongoing workDomain, hosting and CDN setup, and how much SEO and content work continues after launch, also shape the estimate.
Questions
Before you ask
Do you only build 3D and scroll-film websites?
No. 3D and film go in where they explain something, such as a property or a piece of land. The NAROZ.ai launch page is about 42 KB of hand-written code with no images and no framework, and the Uniq Builders site is a static Astro build with quiet scroll reveals.
Will a 3D website be slow on phones?
It does not have to be. On VicWide the main 3D model is compressed to 432 KB. On Sumadhura the scroll film serves smaller frames to smaller screens and decodes only the frames near the current position, and on GRMH Group screens below 900px get a simpler SVG version of the WebGL parcel scene. On Sumadhura and GRMH Group, visitors who prefer reduced motion see a still poster frame instead of the film.
Can you help our website rank on Google?
We build the groundwork into the site: keyword-led titles, canonical URLs, structured data and a sitemap. For businesses that want to be found locally we add topic hubs and guides, as with the 480 guides across eight hubs on Uniq Builders. Nobody can promise a ranking, and we do not.
We already have a website. Can you redesign it?
Yes. Uniq Builders came to us with an old template WordPress site and a ten-point change list. We answered it page by page in a content brief, then rebuilt the site in Astro with services regrouped, packages added and booking on every page.
Where will the site be hosted, and can we change the copy later?
We have shipped sites as Node.js apps on Hostinger, as static files on shared hosting and behind Cloudflare, and we pick what suits the build. Copy usually lives in content files kept apart from the layout, so wording, cities or services can change without redesigning pages.
